Peter Lam - Team Topologies Advocate
I help complex organizations unblock and accelerate delivery across portfolios, programs, and technology. I have led the implementation of modern, proven ways of working to:
Recover complex programs
Integrate strategy and performance across portfolios
Scale new ways of working across large organizations
These transformation initiatives have reduced costs, driven regulatory compliance, and met critical market commitments for major enterprises and government departments.
I have held leadership roles such as Head of Projects, Head of Delivery, Center of Expertise (CoE) Lead (Program Delivery & Ways of Working), Program Manager, and Enterprise Agile Coach.
With a strong track record in Telco, Banking, Utilities, Retail, and Federal Government, I specialize in Transformation and Complex Delivery at scale.
My commitment to growing the industry and my track record of delivery were recognized when I was appointed the Oceania representative for the Agile20Reflect Festival, celebrating 20 years of the Agile Manifesto.
Over the past 10+ years, I have actively shared knowledge through teaching, speaking engagements, and community-building, including:
Agile Australia – One of the largest Agile conferences in the Southern Hemisphere, where I contribute as a Track Chair, Speaker Shepherd, and regular attendee.
Project Management Community – Frequent speaker at PMI and AIPM events, and founder of Agile PM Meetup Melbourne, one of Australia’s largest PM groups (5,200+ members since 2013).

I was introduced to Team Topologies, Matthew Skelton and the ideas when I was working at a large corporate around 2019 / 2020. The ideas were interesting and we started to test them with our teams with some success
Peter followed up by hosting Team Topologies and Luke McManus to celebrate the launch of the APAC Region
He has been sharing examples and stories with Product Conferences and teams
Peter has been working with customers to introduce these ideas with workshops to help people understand the simple changes that can be made to accelerate delivery flow
